Nail Trends 2012

Nail Colour is a massive thing this seasons. The Main colours that are in fashion this season are: Reds. Deep Purples, Pastels (yes I know still in fashion) Blues, Greens, Oranges and Pinks.

The most important thing to keep in mind with this is to keep this look perfectly polished, BIG NO NO is chipped polish, and even worse, painted cuticles. For easy application use the 3 Stroke application.

For non nail polish fans, please I beg you keep your nails manicured, there is nothing worse than chipped edges and over grown cuticles on a lady. 

OH  I almost forgot. BEFRIEND YOUR BASE COAT !!!!! yes you may be thinking its a total waste of time but trust me in the long run its totally worth it. dark colours and reds will stain the nail yellow ( and we don't want that do we? )

Most importantly... HAVE FUN WITH YOUR NAILS. be adventurous, step out of your comfort zone, and don't think that you nails have to match clothes or bags or shoes etc... remember this season its ok to clash :) do a bright pink toe with red peep toes... trust me, it looks gorgeous.

Guide To This Seasons Colour Popping Lips

This season 1 of the beauty trends are colourful lips, Here are some tips that will help you all achieve that catwalk perfect popping lips. 

1. Never ( and i mean NEVER ) apply lipstick to dry and flaky lips, this will just worsen your condition and make the lipstick look awful.

2. In order to achieve that perfect lip, try out (M.A.C Prep & Prim) if this is not within your budget dab some lip conditioner onto your lips evenly.

3. Befriend a lip brush. To achieve a more day time look lip liner is not needed, however your new friend, lip brush, is needed.

     -apply the lipstick as close to the edge as possible then with your middle finger dab your lip on the               edge to soften those edges.

      - For a more harsh evening look apply lip liner that is as close to the colour lipstick on your lip line and through a few cracks ( if you have them ) on your lips. 

4. Darker Hair women should opt for colour that will compliment their hair colour like for example Fresh, Perky colours. Cherry reds and citrus oranges will look amazing against darker hair.

5. Blonde Hair women should opt for cooler colours like watermelon coral and cool pinks.

These are some tips that can help you achieve this seasons trend, however if you are the daring type with confidence you can pull of any colour on your lips just always remember to condition those lips their is nothing worse than seeing a beautiful colour lipstick on cracked lips, BIG NO NO ladies.

When wearing this look it is always best for during the day or evening, depending on how glamorous and daring you are, to keep the skin fresh and dewy (liquid foundations or a tinted moisture will help do just fine) keeping the eyes nice and fresh by apply 2 coats of mascara to the bottom and top of your lashes. However if you ladies are daring and confident why not adopt the Tom Ford way. Do a soft smokey eye with browns or a slight hint of the colour on you lips to make the look more glamorous.

With this look you ladies can go wild with your hair, this is about the only thing you can really play with. sleek ponytails, soft curls, fishtail braids and topknot are just a few of this seasons hair trends that will complete this look.
